Single Review: The Mobbs - Ruby Sol

Of course it's the bloomin' Mobbs! Who else would have the wit, the brilliance, not to mention the downright nonsensicality to title their second studio album Stiff Upper Lip & Trousers To Match? Genius! According to this brand new invention called The Internet, Ruby Sol was originally a Filipino actor who appeared alongside Rudy Robles in the 1950 film Princesa sa Tawi-Tawi, and is also the enchantress about which the trio bark ferociously on their addictive latest single of the same name: so upper class, 60s and typically British that it'll make you want to grab your best china crockery and declare how frightfully spiffing you think your invitation to Margaret and Antony's wedding is.
